Direct current machine refers to the rotary motor which can convert direct current to mechanical energy (dc motor) or convert mechanical energy to direct current (dc generator).It is the motor that can realize the conversion between direct current and mechanical energy.When the motor is operated as a direct current motor, it converts electrical energy into mechanical energy.The generator is run by a dc generator which converts mechanical energy into electrical energy.

 

The structure of dc motor should be composed of stator and rotor.The stationary part of the dc motor is called the stator, and the main function of stator is to generate magnetic field, which is composed of machine seat, main magnetic pole, commutating pole, end cover, bearing and brush device.Runtime called rotor rotating part, its main function is to produce electromagnetic torque and induction electromotive force, is the hub of dc motor for energy conversion, so often referred to as the armature, the shaft, the armature iron core, the armature winding, commutator and fan, etc.dc .jpg
