The dc or ac motor, hydraulic cylinder, and cylinder in the drive device can be directly connected with the operating machine, and can also be connected with the actuator through the transmission mechanism. The transmission mechanism usually has several types such as gear transmission, chain transmission, harmonic gear transmission, screw transmission, and belt transmission.

4. Sensor

The sensor is a robot's sensing system, which is equivalent to human sensory organs. It is an important part of the robot system, including internal sensors and external sensors. The internal sensor is mainly used to detect the state of the robot itself and provide the necessary body state information for the motion control of the robot, such as a position sensor, a speed sensor, and the like. The external sensor is used to sense the working environment or working status information of the robot, and can be divided into two types: environmental sensor and end effector sensor.

The former is used to identify objects and the distance between the detection object and the robot. The latter is installed on the end effector to detect sensory information for handling delicate work.
